You're listening to the Success-Minded Woman with Deidrea Keisling, Episode 22. Today is part two of the client conversation that we started last week with Misty Hassenstab, and today we just jump right in where we left in episode one, part one, where we were talking about how we show up and how we are in the world impacts other people around us.

We just dive right into talking about Misty's experience with how her energy, how she notices, how her daughter picks up on her energy, and how she's being so mindful about noticing that and. Readjusting her energy to be more of what she wants to transmit to her daughter.

So we jump right into the conversation starting with that and stay to the very end because I love what Misty says and how she defines success. And then she shares a really powerful quote that's her favorite quote from Tony Robbins, and that's at the end. So stay tuned.

I keep that in mind with being a mom now, especially at the age she is now. She's watching everything. She is  imitating, I see her energy shift if my energy shifts. If I feel anxious about something or whatever, so does she. And so it's really just being aware of that because that's also teaching, and yeah it's a big responsibility. But I love it because, again we're in charge of how we want to, instill whatever beliefs, and really it's more of actually teaching her to have her own beliefs. And that's a big part of the motherhood that's a big part of my coaching and is now part of motherhood is teaching her to trust and love herself. To create her own thoughts and feelings instead of being told. You'd be good at this or you'd be good at that, or you should do this, you should do that type of thing. And I catch myself like it's easy to just, but it's really, we need more of that in our children because they do look to us for guidance and we have to take care of them, but we also have to teach them how to trust themselves.

And I feel like that wasn't something that I grew up with. My mom is amazing and she did the best that she could, but we just survived and that's okay. But I want to do things differently. And she appreciates that actually. And she says all the time, You and I have to keep growing and evolving for Adeline.

Like we have to be better to teach her to be better than I was, than you are then, and I'm like, yes. Like she's all, and your relationship with your mom has really, yeah. Grown. Yeah. And I would say maybe matured. Yeah, absolutely. Yes. Through having this, it's been really beautiful.

Yeah. Yeah. And watching her create her relationship with Adeline has been so beautiful. Yeah. And she's so calm with her and just they connect and even see her relationship with my husband evolve. And it's really, it's just been this big, I don't know. It's really been amazing and I'm really enjoying the direction that it's headed in and excited for what's to come and just really embracing it.

I think that's what happens with every generation, if you are open, if you are a person who wants to evolve and grow and, be better and, be the best version of yourself and learn from experience. I think a lot of us in motherhood that's one big area where we can take what was beautiful and good about our mother parenting us, and then improve on that.

Take what we wanted from that, drop some of that. And I think with every generation, it can get better and better. Absolutely. Adeline for my kids, and one time when I was bathing my kids in the bathtub. It was something really just mundane about what we were doing.

And my mom was visiting and so she was in the bathroom too. So we were all in the bathroom and I was, I don't remember exactly, but the kids were little enough that all three of them were in the bathtub together. And my mom was in there and was leaning over and playing with a little yellow duckie and just being silly.

And my mom looked at me and she said, I love watching you be a mother. It was so sweet, so beautiful. And she said that many times. I can see that you really love being a mom. Yeah. And I didn't ask her much about it, but what I read is that she didn't of course I don't take that personally.

My mom was 20 when she had me. Yeah. They really are doing the best that they can. Yeah. And we are too. But I think with the awareness that we have in the mindset work that that we've done and are doing. It's so different and we can just go, oh, right away, if I react a certain way to Adeline that I don't like, I can change it.

Like I'm aware of what's going on there. That awareness just wasn't there. Like my mom worked all the time in a factory. She did the best that she could. And I have told her when she was here, I was like, mom you never felt deprived ever.

And she's I wish I could have given more. I wish, my main thing was, I wish I could have been more at more of your stuff, yeah. I wish I worked so much and I was like, yeah. Cause you were putting a roof over our head and food on the table, and so they really are doing the best, but we have different tools, and yeah.

It just and the cool thing about what's happened with my mom and me.  I'm sharing with her in the Mindset growth, self discovery journey, whatever it is, all of the above. Being vulnerable and sharing with her, and she is now on her own journey, those things. Oh, I love that.

Yeah. And it's wow. So you're not only molding a tiny human, but I'm changing, helping, somebody see that they can change. Yeah. How they are looking and feeling and thinking about life. She is in her sixties, and it's really just so cool.

And I think that's another reason that we are so much closer now and feel so connected is because we like are getting each other on a deeper level. Yeah. And I have these conversations and I ask her tough questions and she asks me tough questions and nobody's defensive, yeah. Or oh, that's a good question.

Yeah. Yeah. It's hard to do that because everybody gets so defensive. But if you're both on the journey of curiosity and self-discovery and then you welcome questions like that. Yeah. Give me the tough questions, like I want to dive into that. So yeah, it's been great and I think that is one of the key components of any kind of coaching.

Taking judgment and defensiveness. Yeah. Just as a sign or a signal that you can choose to be curious and compassionate about yourself and how you're reacting to whatever's happening. And then you can decide on purpose deliberately. You can choose right. How you wanna respond. And I really think that's like the first step in implementing change.

Oh, absolutely. In your own, like personal development is making that shift from judgment about yourself, about other people. Yep. And thinking that's all true. Whatever you're judging, you think that's just the truth. And then when you can, like you said, be curious and compassionate with yourself, you're open to other interpretations of the event.

Yeah. And you're like, okay this isn't all about me and what I think and what I feel, and Oh, okay, we can look at this a different way. Yeah. That's we just were covering that in the group, the 12th group that's going through the program right now, and their minds were blown. Just like my mind was blown, with the self-coaching model and really understanding what a circumstance is. Yeah. And not tying thoughts and feelings to that because we so easily “No”, this is the fact, yeah. And. And it's no and so really getting them to understand that this is the fact, and then this is your thought, this is your feeling around it.

Yeah. And you can, the circumstance doesn't need to change and it won't, maybe for, circumstances are only temporary I do believe in most situations. But you can change how you think and feel about it. And I don't know if I ever shared that with you, but that thought model. I didn't consciously use it, and a lot of times I don't anymore. It's just very natural for me now.

But the day that Adeline came into the world was a very scary day. And we're being told, she came into the world five weeks early and went to the ER thinking I just had C-section.

All of a sudden you're having a baby. Emergency C-section. And oh, by the way, you know your wife and daughter. We didn't know she was a boy or a girl at that time. But your wife and baby, I. Are, they're in the, they may not make it distress. It was pretty, it was serious. It was very, and it went from zero to a hundred like that.

It was just like, what just happened? And I remember my husband, it was, obviously he's hearing this news and it's what is going on? And I was so calm. And I was just like, okay, this is happening. I knew something in me. I knew everybody was gonna be okay.

I just knew it and I said, okay, I know the thing that I need to do right now is focus on the things that I can control. Yes. This is the circumstance, right? Yes. This is happening. I can't change this. This is not at all our birth plan. I don't even get to have my own doctor there.  These strangers telling me they're gonna cut me open and it was just, and I'm like, but I can control how I'm reacting to the situation. I can control how I want this to feel and the thoughts that I have around it. And I also knew one of the things that I had to do was keep my blood pressure down because it was already like through the roof. Very dangerous.

They kept full of drugs and it was not coming down. So if I got totally freaked out about the situation, then that is where they were worried that either myself or our baby wasn't going to make it right. So I'm like, okay, what are the things that I can control? I'm gonna listen to the doctors.

I'm going to pray. I'm going to enjoy this time with my husband. I know deep down, everybody's gonna be okay. I'm tough. This baby's tough. Like it's just this time for this baby to come into the world and it's okay. It's five weeks early and it was just like after the fact, I was like, I was really using the self-coaching model.

Yeah. I was, sitting there writing it out. But in my mind I was like, what are the things that I can control here? This is the circumstance. How do I wanna think and feel about it? Yeah. And what is this gonna create? Actions and results. And it's just so wild because now when I share that, and how powerful that can be, I'm like, it literally saved my life and my daughter's life. Like it could have went a whole different direction. And old Misty would have lost her mind. And I don't know what would've happened. I don't even wanna think about it. But it's just it's so powerful when we can remind ourselves we're in control here.

It doesn't matter what's happening around us, like we are a hundred percent in control of how we think and feel about what's going on. Yeah. And yeah, the self-coaching model is an episode that's come out and I don't have the episode number. I'll put it in the show notes the episode where I explain the self-coaching model, and then the next episode is about how to coach yourself. So it's basically about how to apply the self-coaching model, and I was planning to do more episodes about taking it to the next level, which is what you just described.

You're not doing it on paper. You're literally doing it real-time in your head. But you were able to do that because you had been doing it previously on paper, right? Yep. So you were like, embodying how to do that. It's so powerful. When I wrote or sent an email to my email list I wrote in the subject line, this could literally change your life.

I wanna jump out of this podcast and shake your shoulders. People that are listening to us, this literally can change your life. Because you create your life by what you're thinking, not what's happening in your life.

You're, and for you, that's been such a theme. It's really a victim mentality. I know it's hard to do, but it absolutely helps. It's but I think so many of us, when we think victim mentality, we're like I'm not a victim. If you are letting your circumstances, situations, or conditions determine how you are experiencing your life at that moment. You are in victim mentality because you are being a victim of the circumstances of your life. And I think the more that we can all just realize, look, that is our defacto mode. We are actually hardwired to have that mode of victim mentality because we are, our brains are developed to keep us safe and to keep us safe.

You're on the defensive. You are on the lookout for danger. And I think that's one of the most powerful things that we can do for ourselves, absolutely, is to empower ourselves. And we do that with our thoughts. And that's been one of the themes that I've seen in you. And I know that's one of your passions that you talk so much about is about.

We call it the C E O mindset, but it's really about empowerment. It's about you being in charge of yourself, you being in charge of your life, and it comes from what you're just talking about. Empowerment, when I was listening to that first episode, that was one of the things that we got to in that arc of that first 45 minute session where we started and then where we ended with you realizing that you are powerful. You are capable, and you get to decide how you want to. At that point, you were working on a real estate business that then you decided, wasn't really what you wanted. Yeah, but I don't think you ever went back.

I think you had cycles of it, but I think once you learn that, and realize that it's been a theme for you. I've seen it in you for sure, over and over, like going deeper and deeper with that. Empowering yourself, which is what you did in that when you were having Adeline. You dug deep and tapped into your own personal power. And probably influenced the circumstances. I would think so. I would hope that it helped other people stay, calm and not to say I didn't have a moment.

I remember being wheeled into the room where they were gonna do my emergency C-section. And being overcome with emotion. And holy moly, this is really happening. And I started, and they were like, it's okay. And I think because I was so calm up until that point that it was easy for them to calm me down. And for me to calm myself down too, if I would've been a hysterical mess the whole time. I don't even know what would've transpired, what would've happened, but because I was so calm and then they wheeled me, and I just had that brief moment to feel what I needed to feel. Yeah. And then I was like, but everything's gonna be okay because everything is gonna be okay.

I just said, I need to hear that baby cry. And the second I heard her cry, I was like, everybody's gonna be fine. I knew it everybody's gonna be fine. And everybody was, we actually had a very smooth, C-section delivery. Everything we're very fortunate that all she needed to do was gain some weight.

She didn't have any development issues and we're that situation could have gone a whole different direction. I just really contributed to the work that I've done, for years prior to that and now continue to do, and I just beyond grateful, because that could have went a whole mother way. And you were already on this path of self-development and this journey of self-discovery. Before I met you, you had a of your best friend, Melanie. You all kind of mastermind together and encourage each other and probably asked each other some powerful questions.

And you are so ready. You were coachable, you were open, you were curious. And that's what I wanna say for everyone listening. Wherever you are on your journey of self-discovery, you are wanting more out of life. You're asking yourself some powerful questions what would I love? And also I like to ask this “What are your longings and your discontent?”

So your longings are things that are pulling you for your dream, to your vision, and what are your discontents, it's the thing that you don't like. It's the things that you wanna change, and both are very powerful. They both give you information. So you started with Melanie, and then you and I met, and then Melanie.

Melanie just doing her own growth and journey. Yeah, and you are. And, I am. And I just wanted to say that because it's so powerful when like-minded women get together and encourage each other and support each other and hold each other accountable. But that combination is literally thinking that we can change the world.

Absolutely. When women step fully into their power. Step fully into their mission, their purpose, their dream, and their vision for the, for their life, for their family, for the world. I do believe that we are changing the world, one woman at a time, one dream at a time. And I know for you and I being coaches, like there's nothing better in the whole world.

Yeah, absolutely. And being a mom, I think those two things and being a wife are probably and you see the dynamic shift like I've seen the dynamic shift in my household of I don't need to be, and I didn't need to be taken care of before either, but, I wasn't stepping into my true power and seeing as I'm doing that happening and seeing the relationship with my husband, I feel like now it's a true partnership now.

When he needs to be vulnerable because I'm okay. Nothing you're going to say to me is going to I'm gonna freak out or whatever. Yeah. It's really being able to have open, honest conversations instead of. And it's part of men. They want to take care, they want to fix, they want to provide and I totally get that. But I've always said I want a true partnership in my relationship and I really I see that. I feel that I know that's why we've lasted 20 years and why our relationship now is better than ever, and also why parenthood has actually brought us closer versus, pulling us apart. And there was a transition there. There was what are we doing and how are we figuring this out? Just like there is in any big life, moment or whatever but it's everybody. Oh, just wait till you get married, things will change. Wait till you have kids, things will change. And I'm like yeah, they changed. But for the better. Like we're more connected, we're more in sync, we're more honest with each other. There is a true partnership there. And so when a woman can feel that power within them, not that somebody else is telling them you can do anything.

But feel that from within themselves, they show up differently in every aspect of their lives. And I definitely feel that. And then like we talked about before, is you exude that and then you're without even. One of the things that we learned in our Kaizen Mastermind with Rob Dial, the mindset mentor is “be the lighthouse”.

Don't tell people how they should be better, do better all of that. Just be the lighthouse, be the shining example, and let people go, oh my gosh, what does she get going on over there? I'm loving this. I want in on that. Yeah. What is she doing? And I remember even Jason for years and years, he was into self-development long before I was, yeah.

You should listen to this, you should read that. You should get up earlier. You should do that. And I'm like yeah. And then I finally found my own way and what served me, and I really, truly just being the light one you're going to attract. The like-minded people that you can have the open, honest, vulnerable conversations with.

Ask the tough questions and they're going to support you. You're going to support them. I have friendships on a level I didn't even know was possible. And it's just wow, like this is so amazing to experience. And then to be able to bring awareness to it and teach and guide others to, again, pull it from within to be their own lighthouse.

I love that metaphor of a lighthouse. My mentor Mary Morrissey says to “Be a person of increase”. So wherever you are in any situation, you can be a blessing. You can be a blessing to someone that's having a bad day while they're at the checkout. You can be a blessing to the person at the drive-through. Like you can increase someone's basically her interpretation of it, or maybe it was my interpretation of hearing that. But basically, you can increase someone's experience of themselves and their life by just you. Like you were saying, being you and being a light hat, not fixing anybody, not telling them what they should do, and it's just you being you and being that shining example and really just showing up as you want to, as the best version of yourself is.

It's so powerful. It can change the world. It can change everybody you come in contact with and it's I really take that very seriously. And I sometimes have to be reminded when my light is being dimmed by other things to, clean it off and shine bright again.

But that's, I'm learning as I go and everything is always, there's no failure, there's no going backwards. It's all growth and learning opportunities. And another thing that Rob always said was “Make sure life is happening”, for you and not to you, right?

So the victim mentality is, oh, this is happening to me. This is happening for you even the hardest stuff is happening for you to have the opportunity to grow and learn from it and be better. Yeah. So it's reminding yourself of that in the toughest of times. Yeah. I heard this recently and I wish I knew where I heard it from.

It really resonated with your pain is your path. Absolutely. And that's I love that you say that because the reason I started working with my one-on-one coach now is because of the trauma that I did experience from Adeline's birth. Yeah. So I was strong, as strong to be during, but afterward it had really set in what had happened.

And the fear of it happening again. And the fear of losing her had overcome me. And I was like, no, I'm not gonna allow this. Like I want more children. I don't wanna be scared during another pregnancy or especially on delivery day. Going through that was the intent behind the coaching that I started with her in December of last year.

We have never even spoken about that day other than. This is why I'm here, right? I don't want this day to control me. Consume me. Yeah. It was an everyday thing I was thinking about. And because we've dug so deep and really started to understand my relationship with myself on a much deeper level.

And I've healed things. Yeah. Painful things like that day. Even though it was the most beautiful day of my life, it was also very painful. I've healed pain from my childhood. The relationships, with my dad, with my brother, with things that hurt. And it's wow.

And we didn't even have to talk about it. It was just really understanding myself on such a deep level that it was healing and it was forgiveness and it was just bringing all of this stuff up. And it's just wow. And so like when you say your pain is your passion, like now, that is what has fueled me to really want to provide this type of support and guidance to help other women on this, mindset journey in the master of your mindset Mastermind that I'm doing. Yeah, that truly did feel this passion where it's no I'm not done. I need, I really want to. To help other women dig as deep as they are wanting and willing to go.

Because it's not just healing those things, but it's helped me understand my businesses better, my relationships, better myself, better just all of it, yeah. And it's just like that's, I love that saying, that's really cool. My pain is my passion. That's really cool. Actually, this is what's really funny is, I said, your pain is your path.

And oh, and I said, passion. You heard. And I just think that's so interesting. I said, Your pain is your path and you heard passion. Your pain is your passion. So I think that's so interesting because I've heard you say and that your like your mission or your values are passion, positivity, and purpose.

Yes. So passion is such a big part of your belief system and identity. So I just think that's interesting how we hear of where we are. So that was such a perfect example of that too. That's so cool. Your pain can be your passion, your pain can be your path, your pain could be whatever you can path, be your passion.

Yeah, exactly. It doesn't have to be your pain is the point, and you can turn that entry it's an entry point. Yeah. Yeah. As we're wrapping up, I just wanna say, this has been, I was nervous. Because it was my first time having a podcast guest and Messi's it's fine.

It's fine. You're just gonna have a conversation. And of course it has been way more than fine. It's been amazing. And I just wanna say a couple of things to wrap up. So one of my favorite quotes from Grant Cardone, who is one of my mentors, he's a little out there and crazy, but he's got a big personality. But he got a lot of truth at the base. And one of the things that he says, and when anyone ever asks him for advice, so when he's on any like podcast or talk, whenever he's asked for advice, like the secrets to success, he always says, The number one thing that I can tell you is don't go it alone. Yes, you can do it, but it's gonna be harder, slower. And he says, when you go with other people, it's faster, it's easier, and it's a lot more fun. Absolutely. And that's what I'm thinking about what you're starting now. Yeah. So do you wanna tell us a little bit more about what's coming?

Yeah, absolutely. So again, it was fueled by the experience that I've had over the last six, seven months of working with my coach one-on-one and really just getting a true, deep understanding of myself and trusting, really trusting. It's like we started, you and I started that work together.

It’s just evolving again. What we talked about where it came to be was we have a lot of tribe members that go through Her Mindset Matters, REI program. And, they still struggle with their business and finding a deal and all of that.

And so I'm kind constantly checking in with them. I reached out to a bunch of them to ask, what are some mindset hurdles you're still facing because, in eight weeks, we can only go over so much information. Yeah. We're pairing up a mindset and real estate investing.

And as I go on my mindset journey deeper and deeper, it really is all about that. And I saw a quote the other day. One of the guys that I was part of business Breakthrough, it was a coaching program that I was part of, he said, I hate when people say it's all about mindset because it isn't all about mindset.

It's all about the tools and the resources and how to really understand. Stand that and I was like, oh, I really like that because it is all about mindset. But you can't just say that. You have to really know how to dig deep, ask yourself tough questions, ask others tough questions, whatever it is.

And so that's really what this master your mindset is gonna be about. It's not about investing. We're not gonna talk at all about real estate or real estate investing. So it's open to any female entrepreneurs. And really what hit the nail on the head for me.

I went to the Invest Her conference. Vulnerable share here. Went to the Invest Her conference last month and I'm sitting in this room and I'm like, why am I here? What am I doing here? I'm listening to these women. I have 500 doors. I have $10 million worth of property or in my portfolio.

Okay? Now, we have done some really big things in our real estate investing business, but that is more my husband, right? That's his dream. We've talked through that. That was his dream, and that's great. So I'm sitting here going, what am I doing here? I can't relate to these women. They're all doing this actively.

And there was a moment where they had they have a mentorship. The investor people have a mentorship called Strive. And they're going through each person, and this is where it was happening. It was like I have this many doors and I have this portfolio of 35 million.

And I'm like, oh my gosh, what am I doing here? I can't mentor these kind of women. So then the last woman, she goes, I don't have any doors. I'm not doing anything in real estate investing because I'm focusing on being a mom, and I'm growing my mindset coaching business. And I was like, yes. And I was like, now I know I'm here.

This is great. I'm in the right place. And then after that moment, every single conversation I had with all of these women that have multimillion dollar portfolios. Yeah. I don't feel fulfilled. I don't feel successful. I don't know what I'm doing. I don't know where to go next. I'm not happy. I'm like, oh my gosh, I am in the exact place that I need to be at now.

There's so many people out there, specifically women that feel lost, that feel not fulfilled, not successful. Chasing, chasing, chasing. Because they don't really know themselves and what they want. And I just was like, and so I am having these conversations and telling these women about this mastermind, and they're like, oh my gosh, I need that. Oh, I love that. My gosh. And it was just such a beautiful moment. So you were like creating it as you were having these conversations. And that's one of the things that I love about you and about me and about a lot of our clients is we shorten the timeframe from idea to implementation.

And the shorter that you can collapse that timeline and stay in that energy of excitement and I think it absolutely, I think it adds to the endeavor. Oh, absolutely. And you can change it. It's gonna evolve as you, when we launched Her Mindset Matters, REI, it evolved every group.

We were like, oh, let's do this, let's add this, let's change this. Let's, yeah. So I just keep telling myself, okay, Misty, you don't have to have it all figured out. It's okay, and I can make it whatever I want to. The most important thing is there are so many women out there that need this type of support.

Yeah. And, those that are willing to go there I invite them to join. And then I also had the opportunity to share that. Experience with the mindset coach that was up on that panel that said what she said. It was at the last night and she came up to talk to another strive mentor that I'm friends with.

And I said, gosh, do I tell her? Do I tell her what? And I'm like, of course. I tell her. And I said, can I share something with you? And she's oh, yes, please. Tell me now. And I shared that with her and I said, I'm not active in real estate investing, and my main focus is to really provide support to female investors and just entrepreneurs in a mindset capacity.

And you saying what you said, like really solidified that I'm in the right place. And she just wrapped her arms around me. Hugged me so tight and I literally was like a kid on Christmas morning, like I could not have been more happy. More excited to come back and continue working on this, mastering your mindset and get everything ready.

I've stayed connected with all of the women that I met. Checking in on them. And whoever is ready to join will join and it's really just going to be an open invitation to women that wanna join this community. It's going to be a monthly membership fee. We're going to meet weekly via Zoom, and we're really going to dive deep into mastering our mindset in our business, in our relationships.

Especially the one with yourself. That's gonna be our primary focus in motherhood if you're a mom and really just in life as a whole. And that's really the concept behind it. And to do that, we have to really understand how to love and trust ourselves and build. Healthy relationship with ourselves.

And so that's going to be the focus of it. So every week we're gonna go deeper and deeper. There's gonna be tools, everything that I've learned in my mindset journey with coaches and mentors and programs I'm gonna be bringing into it. But I really just want this to be a container, a safe space where people can just be honest and vulnerable and share whatever it is that they need to.  Because we have to admit what's going on and what our minds are telling us and all of that in order to actually address it and move through it and heal from whatever, or discover whatever your path is. So I'm just, I could not be more excited.

I'm a little nervous, I'm not gonna lie, because this is, something totally different than what I'm used to. But I've always said that I would venture down the road of mindset at some point because, like mindset, only because it's been such a life-changing, life-saving. Just there's words can't even describe what the work that I've done on my mindset, how it's changed my life.

Yeah. And so to be able to provide that, for those that want to go on that journey, with me, with other like-minded women, yeah, it's gonna be a little scary, but it's also one of the coolest things that I've like ever done. I love that, I love watching you step into this next version of yourself, of your business.

Thank you. Yeah, it's so exciting. So how can the listeners find you if they wanna join your programs, tell us. Yes, all the things. So the program starts on July 10th, and it is you can join if you're not quite ready and you wanna join. Down the road, but obviously the sooner we start working on this stuff, the better.

And I'm currently working on a landing page right now, but if you wanna connect with me, definitely find me on Facebook. You could also go to the Her Mindset Matters, REI website and just, fill out a form there and it'll connect. I also have a Calendly link if you want to throw that in the show notes.

Yeah. And people can click on the Calendly link to schedule a Zoom with me. So we can get to know each other and talk about it because just like we say in our, in the Her Mindset Matters REI program, it has to be right for you. It really does. And so if we need to chat about what you got going on and if this community and mastermind and everything is right for you. Let's absolutely do that because you're really only gonna get the most out of it if you know . It's a good fit.

It's a good fit. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. So I'm totally open to having those conversations. I love having those conversations. And if it is a good fit, then let's get you signed up. Let's get you rocking and rolling on, really building that relationship with yourself. And yeah, I love it.

I'm so excited for you and for all the women that you are going to impact with that program. So I will put in the show note,  the link to your website, the link to your calendar, and I think that's it of how the Facebook, I can do your Facebook, so I'll get all the link and I'll put all of that in the show notes.

Perfect. So definitely reach out to Misty. If any of this speaks to you, calls to you meet with her, have a conversation and you'll know if it's a good fit or not. Yes. Yeah. Yes. So as we wrap up, this has been so fun. This was actually a lot more fun and less than I thought it was gonna be.

See, it's just a conversation. So one of the things that I would love to know from you is just maybe just a couple of words about how do you define success? Ooh. So that, I love that because obviously when you and I met, success was how I defined success was a whole another ballgame. And it was tied really purely to financial gain.

Yeah. And status and having so many properties in a portfolio, and those sorts of things, and now I totally, there is no financial anything that's tied to it, and that is really where that passion, positivity, and purpose comes in. So for me to feel successful is living a life of passion, positivity, and purpose every single day.

And so if I can wake up and do that, then I feel successful. And so I think it's so important that everybody really, truly defines their own meaning of success. Yeah. And if you wanna tie financial gain to it and all of that's all that's for me, it was actually negative. Yeah. It was hurting me feeling successful.

And that is definitely something we are going to dive deep into and master your mindset because hearing these, what I would assume to be very successful women at this conference say that they don't feel successful. Yeah. It was mind-blowing, but it was also like, I get it. I've been there.

I understand because for women, it's not about money. It’s a lot of the time it's not about how much money we're making it's really about purpose and being the best version of ourselves and really just like showing up every single day and being present and a lot of it is about helping people.

That's probably the number one why that we hear every time we launch Her Mindset Matters REI group is what's your why? I wanna help people, whether it's their family, whether it's others that was really how I got started too. Yeah. So we have to make sure that we are really tapping into what that is, what that looks like, what that feels and incorporating that into your business.

So you do feel that success and fulfillment and Oh, I love that. I love that. So one last thing I wanna ask you and then we'll say goodbye for now. I think you're gonna have to come back because of course have a lot more. I wanted all the lessons that I've seen you go through since I've known you we'll do a part two.

Oh, I'll be back. But I wanted to ask you, do you have a favorite quote that you'd like to share with us? Yes. So this quote actually totally ties into as we were talking, I was like, oh my gosh, I'm so excited to share this quote. Cause it, it ties into everything. So it's a Tony Robbins quote and says, “It's not what we get, but whom we become”.

What we contribute gives meaning to our lives. And I truly believe that because there is. Especially, and I will say, the US America, this is like a status symbol and achievement and you need to make, six or seven figures or whatever it is. And it's, if you take all of that away, it's so much more about who we become and how we are serving and contributing to our communities, in our families.

And I'm the same like I feel exactly the same as you. I feel like we can literally change the world. Think about if every person, shows up as the best version of themselves, truly just providing value and contributing to their families and communities. What that can look like on a world level. So I love that quote and I just think it's totally in line with what we talked about and I just feel like it connects with women on such a deep level because it is so much more than that. The achievement of whatever dollar amount or, whatever that is.

Yeah. It's really like impact. I love it. Thank you so much, Misty. I don't even know how to wrap this up because this is what happens when Misty and I get together. We literally could talk for? Yes, that is true. We'll have a part too. We'll have a part two, part three, and a yes.

And I know we're gonna have lunch soon too, so we can continue this conversation and then share with the podcast listeners. Yes. All right. Thank you so much, Misty, and thank you. I'm so happy that you were my first podcast guest and you can check another box on my dream. Yes. Yes. Love it. Thank you.

Alright, to be here and thank you so much. All right. And keep getting this message out there because it's so important. Keep doing what you're doing. You obviously changed my life and I'm so happy that you're sharing this and can change more people's lives, so thank you as well. Thank you so much.

All right. All right. Thank you.
